Together with the school, help the alumni association celebrate the 85th anniversary of Steinmetz and the dedication of the new fields at Steinmetz Fest!
This fun-filled event will be for family, friends and the neighborhood and is talking the place of our annual picnic.
WE WILL NOT BE AT THE PICNIC GROVE THIS JUNE. THIS EVENT IS STILL FREE TO ATTEND – All it costs is your time!
WELLINGTON AND BARRY WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC.
PARKING:
There will be handicapped accessible parking in the Barry lot, enter from Narragansett. Gold Carts will be available for transport to the front of campus from the Barry Lot.
General parking will be in the neighborhood and at the rear parking lots behind the school.
FOOD:
HOT DOGS AND CHIPS COURTESY OF THE NORTHWEST SIDE HOUSING CENTER (on Barry)
BEVERAGES COURTESY OF THE STEINMETZ ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
POPCORN AND COOKIES COURTESY OF STEINMETZ COLLEGE PREP
A Taco Cart will be on site near the car show on Wellington and will have food for sale at a modest cost.
THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WILL HAVE:
-ALUMNI MEMORABILIA ROOMS, OPEN FROM 10AM TO 3PM
-A section of tents, tables, and chairs.
-Apparel available for a donation
-Yearbooks available to paid members of the association.
-Membership applications/renewals
-Donation Book Drawing at 3pm
-Water and Pop for everyone
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS for Steinmetz Fest:
-Car Show on Wellington: 9am to 2pm
-Junior Score Soccer Games (Locke, Mary Lion, and Hanson) 9am to 12pm
-Athletic Field dedications and ribbon cutting at the base of the flag poles: 12pm
-Parents University Ribbon Cutting(by the MOD units behind the school on the Wellington Side, 1pm
-Break Dancing Contest on front campus: 11am to 4pm
-Chalk Fest on the front sidewalk all day
-Kid Fun zone on Barry
-Community service stations on the front campus

Registration info for the CAR SHOW: Save the Date – Steinmetz Fest & Annual Car Show is on Saturday May 18th! 9AM-2PM. Registration opens at 8AM!
More Trophies awarded this year, and expanded parking. Door Prizes, Free Coffee & Donuts for participants, and lunch food available for purchase. Entertainment By School Students Groups at the Campus. Cruisin Music Radio 101.5 Fm with DJ Rudy The “K” in the Car Show area.
