While most of the 2020 reunions have been postponed, there are two Reunions still going on as planned this year in September and October, providing no COVID pandemic restrictions arise and restaurants can accomidate safely. The Steinmetz Alumni Association asks Reunion organizers to take all precautions as outlined by the CDC and the State of Illinois to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

The 8th annual Northwest side reunion picnic managed by Jack Rangel(6/79) that was scheduled for July 25, 2020, Saturday, in Schiller Woods, Grove #2 was cancelled because no permits are being given out this year.
When we are safe from the COVID-19 virus and the school reopens, how about having a mini reunion at the school??
We can help plan for a Saturday morning/afternoon. Great for some of the classes that are smaller and just want a place to get together and see the school at the same time…just give it a thought!!
The teachers’ lounge (alumni hall) is the perfect place to have a light lunch or snacks and reminisce. The alumni association would love to help.
