Harry married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn “Evie” in 1949. Soon after they married and began growing their family, Harry built their dream home in Barrington, Illinois. He then embarked on his second career as the owner of Byhring Jewelers, a local jewelry store located in Palatine, Illinois until his retirement in 1991.
